My New Favorite Show!

We just put Jack to bed and we are watching a new show called “Minute to Win It” on NBC. Even the name is awesome. I am only 20 minutes in and I am hooked. I have another episode that was on earlier recorded and I can’t wait to watch it too.

The show is set up like “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” but the contestants must complete a task to work their way up the money ladder, not answer questions. They start by winning $1000 and moving up to $1,000,000.

The show is being hosted by Guy Fieri from the Food Network. So far I am liking him as a host. He has got a lot of good energy and has that every guy thing going for him except for the hair. I’m trying to get past the picture of him stuffing giant cheeseburgers in his mouth. It’s pretty hard. I hope he doesn’t try to bite this poor girl who is the first contestant.

As I type the contestant, a 20 something blond, is pulling 3 m&m’s that are balanced on two pencils up to her mouth by two strings that are strung over her ears, while hanging over the edge of a platform. Did that make sense to you? Because I know no other way of describing it. OMG she did it! This girl has skills and she got to eat the m&m’s.

She is now going for $75,000! The suspense is simply too much. You’ve got to be kidding! She has to now blow bubbles and make one strong enough to blow through a hoop about 12 feet away. Holy crap! She did it. This gal just won $75,000 for blowing bubbles. You gotta love it.

Alright, I’ve gotta go. She is now trying to blow decks of card off of the tops of beer bottles while leaving only the last card, the Joker, balanced. Can she do it??? Turn it on to see for yourself.
